Easiest Almond Milk EVER! All you have to do is put about a Tablespoon of almond butter in a cup of cold water, and blend in the blender. It doesn’t even have to be a fancy high speed blender! You can add sweetener of choice (stevia, dates, honey, coconut sugar, etc.), and you can add a dash of salt and vanilla if you prefer. You can also add a bit of coconut oil to make it creamier. For smoothies, you may not need the extra flavorings since you’re adding so much other real food ingredients. But if you’re making this to drink by the glass, you may want to add those extras. See, I told you no excuse for not making your own almond milk! See this post for why!
Kombucha (link to OE post which reblogged Anna’s Favorite Things) If you don’t know what kombucha is, you can find it in health food stores to try it. Reeds is my favorite brand. It’s “fizzy” fermented tea, like a healthy softdrink. Don’t knock it til you try it! Amazing! I have recently started making my own, but it will be a while before I am ready to post anything. See Kombucha Kamp blog for how to make your own!

I think this is great, and so very interesting, but I can’t help but wonder if the almonds used to make the almond butter are pasteurized? Will the label say?
I do believe they are pasteurized, and no it is not required to be on the label. You will have to call your almond butter company and ask them if they buy pasteurized almonds and what process is used.
