I just updated the recipe because olive oil was recommended in a “high heat” recipe. Probably safer to use coconut oil for this kind of broiling, although there are some whom I have read who argue that olive oil is perfectly safe at high heats. I might use refined olive oil instead of extra virgin cold pressed, but need to research that further before I can make a recommendation. Make your own decision, but I try to err on the side of caution, and therefore the update.

Hey Dana!
I made a quick version of your recipe on the fly for dinner last night. It was SOOO delicious. My husband and I were fighting for the last bite!
My son enjoyed it as well, but…I’m thinking I could’ve omitted the chili pepper flakes (threw some in for heat) Ooops!
Thank you again! LOVED IT!! It’s definitely going to be a “staple” in our house!! Just as overnight oats is!

It’s rewarding to know that I helped a family incorporate more broccoli in their dinner plans:) It’s also fun connecing with you on Instagram! See you there later today….. 🙂 Thanks Jaclyn!
